Jonah Weinberg, MNO

Jonah Weinberg brings nearly two decades of experience in leadership positions with public sector and nonprofit. He has extensive experience working in the area of economic and community development, as well as designing and implementing programs that help strengthen minority communities. He began his career as a bilingual teacher, working in public schools in California, near the US/Mexico border. After leaving the field of education, he took a position with the County of San Diego, where he worked on initiatives related to immigrant communities, and helped develop cross-border initiatives around health and social impact issues. Jonah later worked with the San Mateo County Transit District in Northern California, where he led public information and customer service efforts, and was closely involved with regional efforts to coordinate and expand access across the region’s public transportation systems. After moving to Ohio, Jonah worked as a consultant with nonprofit and public sector clients. He serves on several nonprofit boards, including the Hispanic Alliance, the Anti-Defamation League, the Housing Research and Advocacy Center, and Plexus: the Northeast Ohio Chamber of Commerce for the LGBT Community & Allies. Jonah grew up in Costa Rica, returning to the US to attend college; he received a Bachelor of Mass Media Communication and a bilingual teaching credential from the University of San Diego, and he holds a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management and Administration from Case Western Reserve University.

George Pimentel is HBC's . As an accountant, Mr. Pimentel’s experience in accounting, banking, human resources, and supply chain add value to our programs and services. Mr. Pimentel received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and has worked for various major corporations in addition to owning his own real estate firm since 1997. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Mr. Pimentel currently lives on the Westpark area of Cleveland with his wife and children.

Born and raised on the near Westside of Cleveland, Jeanette Garcia has worked with the Chamber since November 2009. Jeanette’s experience in the banking and healthcare industries contribute to her role at the Chamber. Ms. Garcia resides on the Westside of Cleveland with her family.
