Compensation Description: $20/hour, 20 -25 hours per week
 Reports to: MBAC Director
POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Associate is responsible for providing comprehensive support for the MBAC (Minority Business Assistance Center) Director and Advisor and managing the program operations. This person serves as the central point of contact between clients and staff and is responsible for the effective day to day programmatic activities of the program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the MBAC Director and Advisor, including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging travel plans as needed, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for program related meetings & events.
- Answers phones and responds to emails.
- Schedules client meetings for coaching, counselling, and workshops
- Maintains filing systems as assigned.
- Maintain up to date and accurate participant and client data in the Customer Relationship. Manager (CRM) system.
- Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
- Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
- Assists with planning, execution and serves as support for MBAC events such as meetings, workshops and client events, as needed.
- Assists with program reporting.
- Provides back up assistance to the NEOHCED Program Assistant as needed.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- High School Diploma/GED equivalent. Associates/bachelor’s degree Preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (i.e., speaking, reading, and writing).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a professional environment preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in customer service, administrative/executive support preferred.

PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
- Must be able to lift-up to 20 pounds at times.
