Hispanic-owned businesses have a higher “disparity of utilization” in construction contract opportunities than other minority-owned businesses. The Northeast Ohio Hispanic Center for Economic Development (NEOHCED) is working to increase participation and foster opportunities that will lead not only to the elimination of these disparities, but to also provoke economic growth for Hispanic Entrepreneurs.
