 Compensation Description:  $45,000

 Reports to: Director of Operations

 POSITION SUMMARY

The Bar Manager for CentroVilla25 plays a crucial role in the execution of a successful bar at CentroVilla25.  This position directs the daily operations of La Barra Vieja, balancing exceptional customer service with profitability. Key responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, controlling inventory and costs, and ensuring full compliance with local liquor laws and health regulations

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS

  • Oversee all bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure necessary staffing during operating hours
  • Complete revenue and financial reports in timely fashion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Monitor service quality to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience
  • Recruit, train, and supervise bartenders and bar staff, as well as create staff schedules.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and support.
  • Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly and build relationship with regular patrons.
  • Ensure service standards are consistently met or exceeded
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation
  • Track usage and minimize waste or loss
  • Control costs and maximize profitability
  • Work with vendors and negotiate pricing where appropriate
  • Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profitability
  • Prepare reports and analyze financial performance
  • Implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs
  • Develop and update drink menus, including cocktails and specials
  • Coordinate with the Market Manager on bar packages available for events at CV25.
  • Ensure proper pricing and product selection
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovations
  • Coordinate with the CV25 Market Manager on events that involve alcoholic beverages.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of events within the bar, while developing and implementing new event to attract and engage patrons.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with local businesses, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance business opportunities.
  • Enforce all CentroVilla25 policies and procedures and notify Property Management and NEOHCED leadership of complaints/issues
  • Provide regular reports to Director of Operations
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field; or

Proven experience (3+ years) in bar management, sales, or preferably in a retail or service-oriented industry.

  • Demonstrated track record in business management.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Preferred be bilingual, English and Spanish.

PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexible work schedule to included evenings and weekends.
  • Extended times standing and walking throughout the building.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. including large kegs, case of beer/liquor/wine, tables and chairs.
  • Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
