Introducing Access Tech

Access Tech is a technology-centered education training initiative powered by JumpStart with funding from Verizon. Presented in partnership with local community organizations, Access Tech programs are offered at no cost to participants and provide access to the training and technology needed to build new skills and further employment opportunities for job seekers, career builders, entrepreneurs and small business owners in the city of Cleveland.

Meet Kevin!

Last Quarter we hired Kevin Vazquez as our Digital Literacy and Business Outreach Coordinator. He’ll be leading the charge of our Digital Literacy efforts through Access Tech in partnership with Jumpstart Inc.

We’re looking forward to the work we are able to accomplish with Kevin on the team!

Access Tech will provide a variety of workshops focused in digital literacy tailored to business owners and workforce individuals. Some of the courses we’ll be offering are: QuickBooks, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Social Media & Marketing and more. Qualifying participants will receive a laptop to keep and a MiFi for the duration of the program. The workshops will be offered in Spanish, English and virtually and in person.
