NEOHCED Rocks Cleveland: Wins “CDC of the Year”!
We are excited to announce that the Northeast Ohio Hispanic Center for Economic Development (NEOHCED) has been named CDC of the Year by the Ohio CDC Association! This prestigious award recognizes our commitment to serving the Hispanic community in Cleveland and our efforts to drive economic growth and revitalization.
We are incredibly proud of our work on the CentroVilla25 project, which was a major factor in our selection for this award. This transformative project is located in the heart of Cleveland’s Hispanic community and will provide much-needed resources and opportunities for residents and businesses.
Despite the challenges of rising construction costs and a global pandemic, our team persevered and completed this project. We are grateful for the support of our partners and funders who helped make this project a reality.
We are also proud of our other accomplishments, including:
- Increasing client support by over 250%
- Creating jobs and business opportunities
- Celebrating Latino culture
We are committed to continuing our work to support the Hispanic community in Cleveland and create a more vibrant and equitable city for all.
Thank you to the Ohio CDC Association for this incredible honor!
