Artists Statement: Using both digital & mixed media, I produce work that relies on graphic symbols copied & overlaid multiple times. Crafting a filter to investigate the nuance of culture, history, gender, identity, & art. I manipulate multiple iterations into a larger whole in a meditative process that allows me to ruminate on each idea I am inspired to explore. To fully explore the ideas in each piece, I allow for different versions to exist simultaneously, creating work that is greater than the sum of its parts.
