Carmen is an Attorney at AlerStallings. Her practice focuses on Elder Law, Asset Protection, Estate Planning, and Medicaid and Veterans’ Benefit planning. She provides legal services, guidance and support to older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families by helping them prepare a plan for a better quality of life, preserve wealth and protect their future. Carmen has over 19 years of experience, is a passionate advocate for her client and is dedicated to missions that educate, empower, and help build sustainable communities.
In addition to serving as a Board of Trustees for the Hispanic Business Center, her civic service include serving on the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland Pro Bono Committee and the Board of Kendal at Oberlin. She was one of the 100 Latinos Cleveland Must Know and a 2019 Leadership Lorain County graduate.
College Now Greater Cleveland’s mission is to increase postsecondary educational attainment through college and career access advising, financial aid counseling, and scholarship and retention services.
